What they are and why plastic needs them
Smooth plastic pressing on a smooth tooth can tip it — but rotating a rounded premolar or pulling a tooth vertically needs a handle. Attachments are those handles: precisely shaped composite bumps (the same material as white fillings) placed at engineered positions so each aligner can push against a defined surface. Different shapes create different force directions; your digital plan specifies every one.

- Placement: a single appointment — teeth conditioned, template seated, composite cured. No needles, no drilling, no pain.
- Visibility: tooth-coloured and subtle; with trays in, most people never notice. Heavy coffee or turmeric habits can tint them slightly over months (they polish or replace easily).
